Tyler began his insurance career in 2006 within a premier homebuilding and construction insurance brokerage and has remained focused on the residential sector throughout his career. Over two decades, he has played a key role in the growth and success of specialized homebuilding insurance practices by building strong client relationships and delivering tailored risk management solutions.

In 2024, Tyler joined HUB International when his group’s independent brokerage was acquired as part of HUB’s strategic effort to expand and deepen its homebuilding insurance expertise. In this role, Tyler continues to serve national and regional residential builders while helping strengthen HUB’s capabilities within the construction and development space.

Tyler is known for his client-first approach—listening carefully to understand each client’s concerns and then executing solutions efficiently. His experience ranges from optimizing day-to-day service items, such as certificate issuance, to addressing highly complex needs, including negotiating and amending insurance contract language to align with specific business objectives.

Tyler understands firsthand the challenges clients face when evaluating risk, coverage, and cost. This perspective allows him to deliver practical, thoughtful guidance and helps his clients reduce uncertainty and “insurance worry” in their daily operations.

Tyler holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Finance from Brigham Young University and the Associate in Risk Management (ARM) designation from the American Institute for Chartered Property Casualty Underwriters.

Meet My Family

Married since 2003, we are the proud parents of four incredible children who fill our lives with energy, purpose, and plenty of adventure.

Our oldest daughter is completing her degree in Early Childhood Education at Brigham Young University, while our three younger boys are hard at work navigating their K–12 years.

As a family, we love the outdoors — camping under the stars, fishing at sunrise, hunting in the fall, and relaxing together at the beach. And when autumn rolls around, you’ll find us cheering on BYU football — because there’s nothing better than family time and Cougar wins.
